I was just thinking of how God is so true to His Word..when He makes a promises, you know He is going to make good on that promise, because He always keeps His Word. He is completely reliable and trustworthy! Great is His faithfulness! When I see those promises in scripture, I can stand on them as SURE and CERTAIN! What a relief and what a strong foundation to stand on..He has made those promises so we can be at rest and relax, knowing He will come through for us and has come through for us in Jesus, for in Jesus all the promises of God are yes and have their AMEN! Jesus is the fulfillment and wrapping up of all God's promises, for He came to clear away sin and bring us to God, making us righteous and new creations, and pouring out on us the promise of Abraham, the blessed Holy Spirit - so we have God inside, 24/7, and have all that God IS inside, too! The promises are fulfilled in Him in an infinite, rich, glorious way, so that the Bible actually says we are blessed with EVERY spiritual blessing and have become heirs of the world, heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ! Wow! So I thought I would list here some of the promises that are special to me. We can rejoice over all these things..and put our name in these promises, for He will keep His word for every one of His children, all equally precious and important in His sight..
