Welcome to my blog!

Welcome to my little online home...I have been overwhelmed by God's unconditional love and grace and enjoy writing about what God is teaching me... In 2025 I am writing meditations on Revelations of Divine Love by Julian of Norwich. God used this book to encourage me so much in my life. If you are not interested in this, feel free to read some of my posts from previous years! Blessings to you and have a great day!

Already Done

"He willeth that we have understanding of the things that follow: the first is our noble and excellent making; the second, our precious and dearworthy again-buying; the third, all-thing that He hath made beneath us, [He hath made] to serve us, and for our love keepeth it....It belongeth to us to learn that the greatest deeds be [already] done."

Julian of Norwich (Ch. 42)

He has already done the greatest deeds. He has created us, made us in His good image and likeness and declared us "very good." He has already rescued us from sin and death through the work of Christ the Son, who said, "It is finished." And He has already set in place everything for our benefit and good in our lives. It is already done. We don't have to worry about what will happen today, or if God will come through for us tomorrow. In God's eyes, everything is already done. So we can be sure that we will see that visibly in our lives through each and every day. We are His glorious created children, we are redeemed and justified by Christ's Passion, and we are given everything we need for life and living well. We are living in the "already" of God now. We are already whole, already victorious, already strong, already free, already renewed. The greatest deeds are already done, the main victory is already won. So of course He will work out, manifest, and show off that finished work, that complete victory, in our lives!

"With God on our side like this, how can we lose?"

Romans 8:31 (MSG)

A Prayer: In You I have all I need, and more than enough, for every day of my life!

May the amazing grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the extravagant love of God, and the intimate friendship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you. 2 Co. 13:14
