Christ sits rightly and properly in the center of our soul. Here is the One who is both God and Man, dwelling within us. He is majestic and regal, the One who has the highest honor and authority, the rightful Lord and King. He is sitting on the throne of His kingdom and reigning forever more! He is seated in peace and rest because all the work of saving us and defeating all darkness for us, and bringing us into life and light and perfect fellowship with God, is already complete and done. It was perfectly done and nothing more could be added to it. So Christ is seated. He is at rest. And He is at peace. He is at peace with us, in harmony with us, one with us in perfect friendship, and all is well between us. We are perfect to Him, and He is so satisfied with the union we have with Him, the oneness and sharing and fellowship. It is what all the work was for, for this moment of perfect and peaceful fellowship and oneness together, this moment that will last forever in endless joy and bliss! Christ is reigning in us and we are reigning along with Him in life, in union, in freedom, in righteousness, in joy and in peace. Sin can't touch us here, death can't touch us here, for all is life and light here in the Son's kingdom of love. Heaven is in us, eternal life is in us, the victorious God-Man is in us. We're in the heavenly places of blessing and bliss with Him right inside our souls. And all is well!
