We Love You, God!

To the One who created a world for us,

To the One who breathed His own life into us,

To the One who loves to be with us,

We love You, Papa!

To the One who knows all about us,

To the One who thinks we're beautiful,

To the One who calls us His own children,

We love You, Papa!

To the One who took on flesh for us,

To the One who came Himself to rescue us,

To the One who couldn't bear to be without us,

We love You, Jesus!

To the One who came into our pain with us,

To the One who felt all our anguish with us,

To the One who even gave His own life for us,

We love You, Jesus!

To the One who forever lives inside of us,

To the One who fights against fear for us,

To the One who speaks truth in us,

We love You, Holy Spirit!

To the One who is ever close to us,

To the One who is always a Friend to us,

To the One who constantly empowers us,

We love You, Holy Spirit!

To the One who is always there for us,

To the One who never lets go of us,

To the One who will never fails us,

We love You, God!

To the One who will work everything out for us,

To the One who will heal every hurt in us,

To the One who has heaven waiting for us,

We love You, God!

  2. How heart-warming to see you writing again Sparrow. There seems to be a place deep within me which softens and warms when I read your words. Thank you.

I came by your blog yesterday and thinking about how to respond, I realised that I'm not afraid any more and that I haven't been for a long, long time. It made me think that I was once like Much-Afraid in Hinds Feet in High Places and how Christ, through you held my hand away back then and led me out of my captivity. Now I'm no longer afraid to under-perform (for i never can in His eyes), now I'm no longer afraid to fail or wander, or doubt, or try to please God (for these things are his responsibility not mine, He alone is my Keeper and anyway I have no failings in His eyes). I loved what you wrote in July, though I didn't know that you were writing again, so I'm going to post a comment there too.
"To the One who is always there for us" in the hearts, minds and kindnesses of one another. Merry Christmas! Woolly

    1. Woolly, good to connect here again! I had a season of quiet where I just didn't feel I had anything to write, and I realize that is just fine. What you wrote in your comment really resonates with me, because I think that is similar to my journey. Sometimes I still become afraid or feel 'not enough', but it's getting so much better. It's like we can just live with Him now instead of always worrying how we measure up in His eyes, isn't it? It's nice and freeing to be able to just live with God every day and just go through the day with Him as a Companion and Friend. Anyway, have a great day...Sparrow/Nancy

    1. Yes, it's good to be back and posting a bit here! Hope you had a good holiday and are doing fine...it looks like you have a great reading list there! Some of those titles are familiar to me but others are new, and I need to check those out..I myself am rereading The Revelations of Divine Love in an easy to read modern version. I just love how the author says God has no wrath, and that all will be well in the end. Hope you have a great 2023! Sparrow/Nancy
