"And then our Lord opened my spiritual eye and shewed me my soul in midst of my heart. I saw the Soul so large as it were an endless world, and as it were a blissful kingdom."
Julian of Norwich (Ch. 67)
Can we really imagine how wonderfully our God has made us as humans? We seem so little, so unimportant and miniscule in the grand scheme of things, yet we are made just a little lower than angels, made in God's glorious image, and crowned with glory and honor. We are so intricately and wonderfully made by God, and there is a marvelous beauty and endless wonders inside of us. Our soul is like an endless world that Christ loves to dwell in. It is a blissful kingdom where He loves to make His home and reign. We are beautiful, wonderful, fascinating creatures, and we can give ourselves and others the dignity we all deserve as such wondrous creations in God's image and likeness. We can honor the infinite beauty in each person and the marvelous wonders of their being. Humanity is so lovely and special and is like an endless and wonderful world to love and explore, and God loves living in us. For we are truly His dwelling, His magnificent and splendid temple, holy and beautiful in His sight!
I thank you, God, for making me so mysteriously complex! Everything you do is marvelously breathtaking. It simply amazes me to think about it! How thoroughly you know me, Lord!
Psalm 139:14 (TPT)
A Prayer: I honor myself and each other person as wonderfully intricate and amazing beings where God dwells.
