We are the sheep and He is the Shepherd. He carries us close to His heart along all the paths of our life. And if Jesus is carrying His sheep, it doesn't matter if the sheep is lame, worn out, slow, feeling confused, etc., because Jesus is CARRYING the sheep! It's okay to be as weak and broken as we really are, because He is going to be as loving, faithful, and strong as He really is!
"He will feed His flock like a shepherd;
He will gather the lambs in His arm,
And carry them in His bosom,
And gently lead those who are with young."
Isaiah 40:11
