Jesus doesn't want us to be worried or fearful about our future with Him in any way. He wants us to be sure of heavenly bliss with Him fully expecting it, knowing we will be happy with Him forever. He doesn't want us to have any doubts or fears, and in fact He wants to overwhelm us with awe and wonder about how wonderful our future will be with Him! He wants us to know there will be only bliss, happiness, peace and joy awaiting us. He wants us to never fear any wrath, punishment, pain, fire, torment, alienation, rejection, or harm coming to us in any way. Those things may be part of human judgment here on earth, but they are not at all part of God's heavenly justice! Our way of judgment is to punish, bring retribution, make people pay before they can be forgiven or free. But God's way of judgment is actaully non-judgment! It is the way of grace. It is forgiving people without requiring repentance, blessing people who have acted like His enemies, letting the sinful off scot-free, restoring wayward hearts and minds. God promises, absolutely promises, that He has had mercy on all, has reconciled and forgiven all, will not be angry or rebuke us at all, and will be all in all. He absolutely promises that all will know Him, that all will be restored. And God restores us without harming us, without causing or allowing any fiery torment, agony or pain. For love does not harm. Love relieves pain and torment, it doesn't cause it. It is the fear that we are not loved that causes us torment; God is the love that dispels all torment! We have nothing to fear in our future with God. For He is not scary judge but loving Father. The loving embrace of a Father is what is awaiting us. Only love awaits us. Only blessing awaits us. Only healing awaits us. Only bliss awaits us, forevermore!
