We See Grace

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’”
And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.  No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

Jesus has declared to us who God really is and what He is really like.  We see the nature of God, the glory of God, in the face of Jesus.  When we look on His face, we see GRACE!  Not anger, frustration, harshness, coldness, condemnation or disappointment but GRACE.  The law condemned our sin, but in Jesus there is NO condemnation, only acceptance in the Beloved!  Jesus is FULL of grace and truth.  And we've received of that fullness, we've received GRACE.  We are graced today.  God is for us, favors us, is on our side.  I'm His favorite and so are you!  We look at this day through the lens of grace, knowing we are held, loved, understood, accepted, lifted up, GRACED!

                            With love,
May the amazing grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the extravagant love of God, and the intimate friendship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you. 2 Co. 13:14
